CARACALLA. 198-217 AD. AR Denarius (3.30 gm). Struck 199 AD. ANTONINVS AVGVSTVS, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / FELICITAS AVGG, Felicitas standing facing, head left, holding long caduceus in right hand, cornucopiae in left. RIC IV 35; BMCRE 61; RSC 61a.

SEV-359   CARACALLA. 198-217 AD. AR Denarius (3.37 gm). Struck 201 AD. ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right / PART MAX PONT TR P IIII, two captives seated at base of trophy. RIC IV 54(a); BMCRE 264; RSC 175a. Scarce bust type.

ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, laureate and draped bust right, seen from behind / INDVLGE-NTIA AVGG, IN CARTH in exergue, The Dea Caelestis, with elaborate headdress, looking right, riding right on lion, holding thunderbolt and sceptre; below, water gushing from rocks left. RIC IV 130(a); BMCRE 280; RSC 97.
